Good food and portions. Disappointing salads. Had the seafood platter that I liked other than the oysters were gritty. Wife had prime rib that was good. Would visit again.

Ambiance was old school. Didn't have Jameson . Lettuce and a beet doesn't make a salad. Bake potato was great and so was the bread. First place I've been that had plenty of butter for your bread and potato. Main course was OK but nothing to write about. Probably will not recommend .

Old school ambiance. Lots of food but not so great. Dinner came with soup and salad but both were bland. A plate of lettuce with 2 sliced beets does not make a salad. I asked for the halibut to be blackened and they couldnt do it. I had the cajun catfish and it was also bland. The catfish was very breaded. The baked potato was excellent. For 18.95 was only a 2 star experience.

Hi, When I lived in Lake Havasu City, I used to eat at Krystal's Steakhouse and Seafood about 4 or 5 times a year. But, I have to confess, since I moved back to California, Krystal's has kind of dropped off of my radar and I have not eaten there in about 2 or 3 years. So, on a trip out to Havasu a couple of weeks ago, we decided to run on over to Krystals and give it another try. On first look.... nothing about the restaurant had really changed. It was a Saturday night about 7:30pm and there were only 2 or 3 cars in the parking lot. Upon entering the establishment, I saw nothing had changed about the inside either (probably since 1975!). It is still dark and quite a bit dated. Reminiscent of an old school (60's or 70's ) steakhouse. Dark decor, dark booths, dimly lit. You know the look. We were greeted kindly at the door and shown to a booth in the rear of the restaurant ` which actually a nice little view of the lake. Our waitress came by promptly and gave us menus and offered us drinks. We inquired about an ad we had seen which offered their "early bird" specials all day. We were told it was in effect and we were welcome to order from this menu, which she promptly brought. We both decided on Chicken Fried Steak. For $10.99 we got Soup, Salad, Rolls, Chicken Fried Steak and Mashed Potatoes and Gravy. A deal no matter how you slice it. The soup, clam chowder, was acceptable and quite creamy. The salad was very good and served on a chilled place with a sliced beet (rare these days) as an add on. The Chicken Fried Steak was very good and was the mashed potatoes. The gravy left a little to be desired. We both ended up with a sizable doggy bag for lunch the next day. Service was good. The buss girl was exceptional! Never were our drinks empty and empty plates were whisked away promptly after finishing out meal. In fact, she was so good at her job we asked to see a manager to leave the young lady a nice compliment! Krystals got 4 stars averaged on the following: 5 stars for the meal and the price. 3 stars for the decor. Krystals is well worth stopping by to try. Don't forget to ask about the all day, early bird, dinner specials. Enjoy, Jim

This place has high ratings I have no idea why. Me and my wife decided to try this place it's nice and clean with a great view. That's about it! You will die of thirst in this place! This place is a steak house? I ordered my steak med rare I had to send it back twice! Finally got it right third try was the charm. Not a place to eat if your under 65

My Husband and I came here for dinner since it had such great review! My husband sent his steak back twice for a med- rare! Got well done twice. I had the fisherman's yuck! Love parts not much! We aren't coming back!

I have dined at Krystal's 3 times. Each time the place was not very busy and we were seat right away. I typically order rib eye steak, which has always arrived cooked the way I asked for. Drinks come out quick and are decent for the price. The place has a bit of a run down feel and it is off the beaten path, definitely check the map if you are headed there for the first time. I would say if your looking for a good steak dinner and are in the mood to spend a few bucks, give em a try.

I go here for special occasions or when I have extra cash. Why you ask? Crab legs. I don't care how much they cost. They are awesome and pre-cracked. No busting out tools. You can just dive right in. Their butter is constantly warm because they serve it over a tea-light. The tea lights serve as extra ambiance. It is quiet. Too expensive to bring your kids. You can dress up or be fancy. Best crablegs I have had in Havasu. Don't pay attention to the out of town haters.

My parents live near Lake Havasu and we wanted to enjoy a nice dinner together while I was in town to celebrate my moms birthday and Valentines Day. We were able score reservations at Krystals. I must say that the service was the best I've ever seen. Every employee was attentive to every table. If something was needed or not at our table, whoever was near by was checking on us. I ordered the medium rare rib eye and scampi meal. The steak was cooked to PERFECTION and the shrimp had great flavor. Four people were in our party. Four meals, 3 mixed drinks, a soda, 2 desserts, and 3 coffees....$138. The price was right and the food was amazing! I would definitely recommend this place.

We we're in havasu for our honeymoon and decided to have a steak dinner and ended up here. Well on a Sat night at 6 there was us and one other table having dinner that's it. The decor is old and the top cushions on the booths slide forward and are prettymuch not safe. The waitress was ok not really too friendly she definitely looked like she didn't wanna be there. We went with a sirloin steak dinner and filet minon and shrimp dinner. Prices were kinda high but our steaks were perfectly cooked and really good. The shrimp was awesome too. They need to redo the decor and get some new staff and lower their pricing a little and they would be awesome. The food was great but not enough for us to return.

Food was ok but very pricey. The booths are dreadful. My legs were cramped the entire dinner and I am not a big person. We all complained about the lack of seating and arm room. It felt like a Southwest Airlines flight. The salad was brown and dressing was poor. The service was friendly. I will never go there again.

I am not so sure about fine dining, but Krystal's is a pretty good place to get a steak when you're in Havasu. The outside of the restaurant doesn't exactly scream fine dining either...Am I at JB's? Bob's Big Boy? Nope, it's Krystal's. But if the food is good, that's all that matters, right? I just think their prices are a little high, for example, my fried shrimp, although good, was around $18. I just thought that was a little much considering where I was at. The people I was with loved the steak and didn't seem offset by the prices. Like other nice steakhouses, the side dishes must be ordered separately. If you're in Havasu and have a hankering (wow! nice alliteration!) for a steak or seafood, Krystal's is a pretty good option if you don't mind the price.

Went there for Christmas dinner, not impressed! Waitress unfriendly, extremely pricey for canned green beans and turkey soup. Only sides available were mashed potatoes or french fries; not compatible with either the halibut or shrimp scampi! Fish was cooked okay, scampi was cold. French onion soup (probably from a can as well), served without cheese or croutons. Atmosphere was okay, space is tiny...especially around the door. Overall this was a pretty terrible experience and expensive meal for Christmas! Advise that you stay away for New Year's or any other special occassion unless you have a fat wallet and canned food appetite!

This place is NOT fine dining and not worth the high prices. First of all, vinyl tablecloths and plastic out dated decor are your first clue. The dishes and silverware are cheap and not even clean. They even have ripped seats that I sat in. (Very tacky!). The food isn't worth their prices. My salad was tiny and drowned in dressing. My son ordered the fishermans platter and had a rotten oyster. They only took five dollars off which to me is insane because if he got sick, they'd be responsible for it. Thank god he's ok. My husband ordered a steak and it came undercooked. Then they sent it back to him over cooked. And it was really fatty. The management needs to treat customers better. The waitress was pretty good , but touches the rim of all the glasses which is a no no and again tacky. I wouldn't bother with this place. Food isn't worth it, the decor is ugly and outdated, the service is only ok, and the management sucks. Save your money and your calories!

No kidding you need to take the fine dinning out of your name. This is close to sizzler, they surely don't have a clue about beef or how to cook a Rib Eye

We have eaten here five or so times and never disappointed. Staff are friendly, and the restaurant is nice enough. I have had several items on the menu, as has my bride, and always the meals are good, and hot. I think you will have a fine meal here without bringing The Big Wallet.

I'm not that picky when it comes to food but this place was horrible. Their water was great the service was decent, should've been remodeled probably 15 years ago. They charge five star prices for cafeteria food. I've had much better steaks at a buffet sad to say about a steakhouse.(just being honest)

Came here for the 1st time for my birthday dinner. Nice place, a little on the old restaurant style with a great view of the lake. We both had the Fried Shrimp and they were huge. You get 5 large pieces and I could only eat 4 of them. All dinners come with soup, we had the Clam Chowder and a small salad and a bread basket. The bread was really good, warm and soft. The dinner comes with a choice of potato, rice, or vegetable. Since it was my birthday I was given a free cupcake. The special deal is the early bird, 4 to 6, certain dinners are around $8.00 less. We will go back and check it out again.

I wouldn't even give it a star!!!! Absolutely terrible. I wouldn't even feed my dog this food. Had a couple of prime ribs that were most likely from the night before and COLD. Ordered it medium rare and it came out medium (don't know how they did that with it being so cold!) "cough cough"

Delicious prime rib and French onion soup. Friendly staff. Great place for dinner!

Old decor, plastic table covers, elementary school style bathroom stalls. Staff was friendly. Ribs were terrible. Chicken was dry. Salad was okay, croutons were only crumbs, chicken fried steak was okay. Black bear diner's is way better. My 2 year old loved the penne pasta in garlic/butter. Overpriced. Will never return. Golden Horseshoe is still my favorite. Would rather have spent the money at Shugrue's for my father-in-laws 85th b-day,

This place may be one of the oldest restaurants in Havasu, but it has some delicious food. The early bird specials are hard to beat: prime rib, salad and soup all included in one price. My husband and I have been going here for years and the food has been very consistent. If you enjoy wine, they have a decent wine selection.

Came on the spare of the moment on a Sat night... Sat at view of lake booth and had excellent meal!! Prime rib was best I've had and all inclusive bread, soup, salad and entree was a real deal. Ambiance is fancy but anyone could love. Going to try seafood next time.
